Deep water swim test

To utilize the water slides, swimmers must pass the deep water swim test.  Lifeguards will announce scheduled times for the deep water swim test during the first few weeks of the season. The test includes:

1. Swim across the dive tank and back without stopping or touching the wall
2. Tread water for 30 seconds
3. Independently use one of the slides
4. Retests are allowed, but only one test per day
